TWO AXLES,
SAME MEASURES
The TRUCKCAM AXLE PARALLELLITY SYSTEM is based on measuring the parallelism between two axles.
The TRUCKCAM AXLE PARALLELLITY SYSTEM is based on measuring the parallelism between two axles.
ONE EXAMPLE IS to align the front axle parallel to the driven axle when the steering wheel and steering gear box is centered. The system can be configured for one-sided measurements or, to achieve higher accuracy, for double sided measurements. Double sided measurement will take into account the differences in toe-in between the axles.
THE EQUIPMENT IS COMPACT and uses only two units for single sided measurement or four units for double sided measurements as the targets are placed directly on the cameras. The system uses pre-calibrated wheel adapters to avoid run-out compensation, which decreases cycle time. The calibration of cameras and wheel adapters is scheduled by software to ensure high quality measurements.
