Advanced Driver Assistance System ADAS

KEEP TRAFFIC

SAFE

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL AND LDWS (Lane Departure Warning System) assist the driver to adapt the speed and position of the vehicle in relation to the distance of the vehicles in front. It is of great importance that these sensors are properly aligned parallel to the driving direction of the vehicle.

ACC SYSTEMS REQUIRES

WELL CALIBRATED SENSORS

USING A FORWARD-LOOKING RADAR, the ACC sytem automatically detect and adjust the speed to maintan a proper distance between vehicles in the same lane. For the correct functioning, the sensor’s direction and the driving axle should be adjusted with a very small tolerance.

BETWEEN THE LANES

WITH ALIGNED CAMERAS

WITH A CAMERA MOUNTED IN THE WINDSHIELD, the LDWS safety system reconizes the striped and solid lane marks, detecting unintentional lane changes and warning the driver that the vehicle is about to veer out of lane.
To keep the vehicle straight between the lanes, the LDWS system adjustment is made by aligning the cameras according to the driving axle of the vehicle.
